The US MARINE RAIDER ASSOCIATION
The 100th INFANTRY DIVISION PRESERVATION GROUP was founded by our friend, Tom H. Kelly, the grandson of a WW2 combat veteran who served in B Company, 399th Infantry Regiment, 100th Infantry Division. They are a WW2 re-enactment group that focuses heavily on public history, interviewing veterans of the division, visiting the division's battlefields in Europe, researching at archives and museums across the country, and writing articles on aspects of GI life.
We've known Aaron Elson since 2009 and became an instant fan of his work. Aaron's father was a tanker with the 712th Tank Battalion in Europe during WW2. Aaron has been interviewing WW2 veterans since 1987. He's interviewed hundreds of WW2 veterans - his archive contains over 700 hours of interviews! Additionally, Aaron is the author of a number of WW2 books, notably, THE ARMORED FIRST: THE 712th TANK BATTALION IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR published in 2015 by Fonthill Media.

This four-part Vietnam War multimedia experience, VIETNAM: AN INNER VIEW, was created by USMC combat veteran Marc C. Waszkiewicz, who survived three combat tours in Vietnam. The photobook: 1000 YARD STARE: A MARINE'S EYE VIEW OF THE VIETNAM WAR; The documentary: TRIPWIRE!; The memoir: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE; The soundtrack: WARSPEAK. At the heart of this epic multimedia experience is the extensive unique record Marc kept to document his time in Vietnam through different mediums: over 4,000 photographs and slides, hours of 8mm film footage, a diary, and hundreds of letters written home. I cannot recommend VIETNAM: AN INNER VIEW enough and wish more projects were undertaken like this.
